Episode 28 – Fixing Ghost Rider & Finding a Fish

This one was tough.  Our listeners asked (ordered?) Brad & Jarf to Fix Ghost Rider, and that’s what they did.

-Some movies shouldn’t have love interests (We’re looking at you, Agent 13 in Caps 2 and 3)
-Can romance work for Cap in movies or comics?
-Brad loves the Netflix Marvel shows, but needs more lawyer stuff
-Who would be a good Ghost Rider? Walter Goggins? Jake Gyllenhaal?
-Brad says Justified is the best show from the last 15 years
-Someone needs to cast Katee Sackhoff in something comic related immediately.
-Wynonna Earp is surprisingly good.
-Brad’s son won’t say, “I love you.”

-Brian Waltersdorff, owner of Comic Store West.  Brad and Brian talked about Captain America: Civil War, the free comics everyone is excited for and what is next for Comic Store West.

-Patrick Brown, founder of the Harrisburg Comic Com.  Patrick is a heck of a nice guy and the Comic Con looks to be a great event.  And Patrick was dressed like The Flash!

-Dave from The Central PA Ghostbusters.  They are raising money to fight Autism, which is awesome and important.  Also, what does Dave think about the upcoming all-female Ghostbusters film?  Note: The Ghostbuster posing in the pic with me isn’t Dave.

We’re back already.  Can you handle this much Movies That Marvel.

Exciting episode as this is our First:
-On Location Podcast.  We go to Comic Store West in York, PA.
-In-Person Talk.  Brad sits face to face with Brian Waltersdorff, the owner of said Comic Store West.

Boy, Brian is a nice guy for letting us into his store and sitting down to talk about Batman V Superman, Upcoming Comic Book Movies and Big Comic Book Events.

He also drops a big announcement about Free Comic Book Day on May 7.  Hint: Movies That Marvel will be doing something special at his store.

True Story: Brad showed up for the interview wearing a Superman Shirt.  Brian was there wearing a Batman Shirt.  They still were able to get along.
