It is the Last Episode of 2016 and there is a whole lot of stuff.

Muertess: The Duchess of Death joins the show for the first time to share what horror movie you should be checking out on Netflix.

So. Many. Digressions.  To name a few:

-Brad saw Bad Brains in Philly
-Frank Black talk
-Brad saw Freedy Johnston before he knew who he was

-Jarf loves The Worst Idea of All Time podcast
-Why did they make Grownups 2?
-One last crazy thing to happen in 2016: Brad says something nice about Justin Timberlake music
-Cheesy 80s music videos (uh oh, It’s Magic!)

Not to be left out; Heather, Jarf, Matt, Kyle, Lamar, David, Brian from Comic Store West & Shawn share their favorite things from 2016.  Some of those things include Babetown, Shooting Clerks, Gilmore Girls: Year in the Life, The Extra Life Gaming Event, The Neon Demon and the band Thank You Scientist.

Episode 37 – Best of the 90’s: Pinky & The Brain V Ren & Stimpy

Ridiculously Special Episode of The Cosmic Geppetto Podcast.

Kyle & Brady from The Ghostbusters Minute Podcast (a favorite around here) argue which is better: Pinky & The Brain or Ren & Stimpy.  Mark Landry, creator/writer of the excellent comic Bloodthirsty: One Nation Under Water, is here to judge the proceedings.

Jarf returns for the inaugural edition of Crossing The Streams, where we talk about hidden gems found on Netflix, Amazon or other streaming services.  He and Brad talk about the  new Tick pilot.

There’s a new Theme Song!  Sung by Amy Kenerup!

The Digressions:
* Not too bad this time, aside from Jarf & Brad talking a lot about how awesome Patrick Warburton is.

Find out more about Mark Landry’s Bloodthirsty: One Nation Under Water Here.

Episode 35 – Returning to The Preacher

Kyle from Ghostbusters Minute and Kathleen are back to talk about the completed First Season of Preacher.

So much cool stuff in this episode.  Most important, we are doing another Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Fundraiser.  This time, $1 is donated for every iTunes Review for Ghostbusters Minute.  And, because he is a Great Guy, Kyle is matching our donation.

So…if you put something nice on iTunes for a Great Podcast, $2 goes to a Fantastic Organization and it Doesn’t Cost You Anything.  That is a Good Deal.

The Digressions:
-There are So Many Spoilers
-Kathleen hates TV and movies where animals die.
-You’re The Worst is a good show.
-Preacher, like Breaking Bad, is filmed in Albuquerque, NM.
-They filmed a lot of movies in Louisiana, but taxes have changed.
-Matt from Smörgåschords is awesome.
-Kathleen loves Kyle.
-Brad never misses the podcasts Whistlestop, The Gist and, of course, Ghostbusters Minute.

By the way, you can make a donation to CFF.org and we encourage you to do so.

Episode 29 – Talking Preacher

New Friends Kyle and Kathleen join the show to discuss the new TV Show Preacher and the comic of the same name.

Thanks for the Ratings & Reviews for the Podcast.  As promised, $1 for each was made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.  We rounded up a little to get a round number.  Even cooler: Matt from The Smörgåschords Radio Show matched our donation. Matt is awesome.

The battle against Cystic Fibrosis is important to Kyle and Kathleen.  To thank them for giving their time to the Podcast, we are doing another round of fundraising.  Same as before, we will donate $1 for every Rating or Review on iTunes or Stitcher between now and July 15. Our goal is 100 total.

Episode 16 – Announcement!

Hey Everybody,

Exciting stuff upcoming on the Podcast.  First and Foremost, we’ve undergone a name change.  Movies That Marvel is now The Cosmic Geppetto Podcast!

Why?  Well, the plan was to use Marvel Movies and Comic Book Movies as the basis for the Podcast with the option to talk about other stuff.  It was observed we were talking about other stuff more and more.  It was also causing agitate with guests who worried they couldn’t come on if they didn’t know the in’s and out’s of Superman 4: Quest for Peace.

Don’t worry, Comic Book Movies will always be part of the show, but as a general interest Pop Culture Podcast, we’re free to talk about other cool stuff and not feel bad about it.

Check out our latest episode for more about the name change and other cool stuff coming your way.

Stay Marvelous*
Brad
