Episode 49 – Evil Dead & The Battered Bastards of Baseball

Jarf is back to talk Battered Bastards of Baseball, the documentary you can catch on Netflix.

Wait, There’s More!  Brad does a To & From review of The Red Branch Theater’s production of Evil Dead: The Musical.

The Digressions:
-The Podcast is Dedicated to Jarf’s friend Maureen.
-Why isn’t anyone named Bing anymore?
-Small Potatoes: Who killed the USFL? is a great documentary. Trump is in it. Brad keeps saying AFL when he means USFL.
-Why are there so many bad baseball movies?
-Brad cannot say credulity.
-Jarf recommends Deepwater Horizon.

David Snape has a great internet radio show.  He interviewed Brad.  Check it out Here.

  1. Just a note about your comment about The Scout – it’s not only possible for a player to make their MLB debut in a World Series, it happened last year, as Raúl Mondesí Jr. did for the Royals. Granted, he wasn’t a pitcher starting Game 1 (not to mention the other ridiculousness), but possible. I’ve known about Battered Bastards of Baseball, and wanted to watch it, but not a Netflix member (had a trial membership with Netflix a while ago, but of course forgot about it. 😦 ) I need to go visit someone who has it.
